POP+BARK is bringing ALL the festive magic to Durham on Sunday 1st November for one HUGE Labrador Christmas pawty! Think Christmas tunes, festive zoomies, wagging tails and a room FULL of chocolate, black and yellow Labs causing the most glorious kind of chaos!

We know it's a little early for Christmas, but when there's this much festive fun to be had, why wait? Besides, Labradors have NEVER needed an excuse for a party, especially one involving FOOD! 🎅🐾

Christmas jumpers, sequins and DAZZLE are the dress code. Expect Christmas props galore, adorable festive photo moments, our iconic Pupuccino Bar serving up gingerbread pup cups and, of course, a VERY special visit from SANTA PAWS himself! 🎅

🎄 Join Durham's biggest Labrador Christmas gathering for 80 minutes of pure festive joy. One stunning venue, a sea of very merry chocolate, black and yellow Labs and heaps of off-lead fun! Prep your Xmas jumpers, sequins and outrageous festive fits – it's time to sleigh!

🎅 Meet Santa Paws! The big dog himself is coming to POP+BARK. Take your Labrador to meet Santa, snap the ultimate festive photo and make a Christmas memory that's going straight on the mantelpiece. Naughty or nice? Given we're talking Labradors, Santa Paws might have his work cut out...

📸 Your Christmas camera roll = sorted. We're going all out to kick-start the festive season! Expect Christmas props galore, twinkly backdrops, festive photo stations and plenty of sparkle, surprises and ridiculously cute Lab moments worth snapping.

🍸 We're taking over Slug and Lettuce with their indoor bar pawfect for off-lead Labrador madness. Grab a festive cocktail, order some delicious bites and soak up the Christmas chaos while your Lab makes a whole bunch of new besties. Expect wagging tails, enthusiastic greetings and absolutely ZERO concept of personal space!

🧁 No POP+BARK pawty would be complete without our iconic Pupuccino Bar, and Christmas calls for a festive glow-up! Your permanently hungry Labrador can tuck into a gingerbread pup cup piled with delicious toppings like turkey and cranberry. Let's face it, the food is probably going to be the highlight of their entire year.

🎾 Expect festive stuffies, nutcrackers, toys, bubbles, balls and heaps of doggy fun ready to chase, squeak, sniff, pounce on and play with. Basically, a Labrador's Christmas wish list come to life! From tiny pups finding their paws to distinguished Lab Oldies who've perfected the art of getting exactly what they want (usually food), every age is welcome to come, mingle and find their people... well, Labradors!

Our events are a brilliant way to socialise your Lab in a safe, secure space where they can be completely OFF-LEAD. No pavement hellos. No tangled leads. Just the freedom to sniff, play, zoomie, make friends, chase a ball or simply potter around at their own pace!

And trust us, there's NOTHING quite like a room full of Labradors! Chocolate, black and yellow, all wagging, bouncing and greeting each other like long-lost besties. Add Christmas jumpers, festive tunes and a little sparkle into the mix and you've got one gloriously happy, slightly chaotic, tail-wagging Labrador paradise! ✨🐾

DRESSED TO SLEIGH 🎄✨

Christmas jumpers, sequins and DAZZLE are very much encouraged. Whether your Labrador is serving cosy Christmas knit, Santa's little helper, head-to-paw sparkle or a festive outfit that lasts approximately three seconds before they're rolling around with their new besties – we want to see it!

Chocolate, black or yellow, big goofy grins and permanently wagging tails – Labradors were MADE for Christmas chaos!

If you've always dreamed of owning a Labrador, it's also the perfect chance to get to know the breed, meet Labs of every age, chat to their humans and experience first-hand why these food-obsessed, ridiculously lovable goofballs have stolen so many hearts.

Need a festive serotonin fix? Consider this your prescription. Come cuddle some Labradors, grab a Christmas cocktail, take approximately 600 photos and leave significantly merrier than you arrived.

FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN 

Calling all little elves (and big kids too) – POP+BARK Christmas is made for the whole family.

We’ll have Christmas activity sheets, heaps of festive dog toys and squishies to play with the dogs, plus our famous Bubble Bash – technically for the dogs, but we’ve yet to meet a kid who doesn’t get just as excited when the bubbles start flying.

Dress them up, bring them along and let them loose in a room full of Labs, Christmas magic, bubbles and festive fun. And don’t forget, there’s a VERY special someone waiting to meet them too... Santa Paws! 🎅🐾

And if the grown-ups happen to have a festive cocktail in hand while all this is going on? Even better. 🥂✨

HELD AT SLUG & LETTUCE

It's big, beautiful and made for mingling, with plenty of floor space and comfy seating.

So make yourself at home, grab one of their fabulous cocktails or a refreshing spritz, and tuck into something delicious. They've got fantastic sharing boards, tasty light bites and a great food menu to choose from. And if cocktails aren't your thing, they make a seriously good coffee too!

• Do let your dog off the lead once inside, but...
• Do keep an eye as they always remain your responsibility
• Don’t leave any dog mess behind – bag and bin it
• Don’t bring aggressive dogs to the event please
• Don't bring pregnant dogs or those in season for the safety & wellbeing of all

POP+BARK have 6 years experience in hosting safe events and:

• Make each indoor venue dog-proof and safe for them to roam
• Carry out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
• Safety check, sanitise and clean all the event props
• Ensure all staff are fully-trained and adept dog handlers
• Have one dog first-aid team member on site

ACCESSIBILITY

The venue has a wheelchair accessible entrance and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the venue.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised and up to date with their vaccinations (this will not be checked). Dogs showing aggression towards other dogs or humans will be asked to leave.
2. POP+BARK are the organisers, Labrador Cafe is the event and Slug and Lettuce is the venue. All parties take no responsibility for your dog or its actions, you must keep them safe and if your dog harms another dog or person it will fall under your own liability.
3. Please check your Pet Insurance to ensure your dog is covered for public liability in the event they harm another dog or person. Should you bring more than one dog, ensure you have enough people to care responsibly them – suggested dog to human ratio is 2:1
4. If you or your dog are harmed by someone else's dog you must resolve the matter with the dog's owner - POP+BARK and the venue take no responsibility for the actions of the dogs attending. Should a fellow guest harm your dog, they will be personally accountable and all issues must be resolved as if in a public space - the POP+BARK team cannot mediate.
5. You must purchase the correct ticket to attend. If you are bringing a dog in your booking, all people in the party are then classed as 'Owners' and should be in possession of Owner tickets and in attendance with at least one dog.
6. If neither you or the guests in your booking are bringing a dog with you to the event, you must buy a Dog Lover ticket.
7. All children must be accounted for - children 16 or under are charged a reduced rate and children 6 or under are free but you must still order a ticket for them.
8. All dogs must be accounted for and we ask you order a ticket for your dog (they are free) please do not attend without a ticket for them. If you attend and do not bring a dog with you but have purchased an Owner ticket it will be at the discretion of the organisers as to whether you are allowed in - you will be required to pay the additional costs to convert your ticket to a Dog Lover ticket plus a service fee.
9. There is a No Refund policy in place due to the nature of these events - you must check you are available to attend before purchasing tickets. However, if in the event you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. All such requests are dealt with on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the organisers.
10. If the event should be cancelled you will receive a refund minus the booking fee paid to TicketTailor or a Refund via Voucher so you can attend another event. The booking fee is £1 per paid ticket. There is no booking fee for free tickets (dog tickets or Children 6 or under)
11. Dogs receive a free Pupuccino or a Pupcorn but all other food and drinks for humans and dogs are payable - the ticket covers entry only.
12. Please only bring Labradors and Labrador Crosses that are at least 50% Labrador - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate doggy siblings or dog guests of other breeds.
13. POP+BARK may film the event and footage could be used but not limited to: website, event and marketing promotion, social media content adverts and press materials. If you would like to request the removal of your image you can email help@popandbark.com but please be aware while we will endeavour to action any requests, on occasion we may not be able to remove footage once it has been published or in the public domain.
14. We reserve the right to amend, reschedule or cancel the event at any time. We aim to provide guests suitable notice of any changes.
