We’re transforming The Refinery into a spooky-season playground packed with pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts ’n’ ghouls, creepy-cute props and an epic Pumpkin Patch ready for its close-up.

There’ll be Halloween toys ready to be chased, squeaked, snuffled and absolutely destroyed, spooky surprises around every corner and plenty of frightfully good photo moments along the way.

It’s officially spooky season — bigger, furrier and filled with the most wonderfully mixed-up bunch of dogs in London.

🎃 Join us for one of London’s biggest all-breed indoor dog meet-ups this Halloween. 80 minutes, one lovely venue and a glorious mix of dogs ready to play, zoomie and pawty together. Mixed breeds, rescues, rare breeds, big dogs, little dogs and everything in between — this is YOUR Halloween event.*

📸 Your Halloween camera roll won't cope. We’re going ALL OUT for spooky season with a Pumpkin Patch, Halloween props, creepy-cute photo moments, tricks, treats and plenty of surprises along the way. Costumes very much encouraged.

📷 Even better? The brilliant Hannah Drimer will be joining us for professional photography – completely FREE for our guests. Get your dog looking spooky-cute, strike a pose and download your professional photos after the event at no extra cost.

🍸 We’re taking over The Refinery Bankside, an incredible south-of-the-river London location with a huge indoor space made for off-lead doggy chaos, plus an outdoor area that’s pawfect for pre and post-event mingling, drinks and even more photos.

🍝 Come early, stay afterwards, grab a cocktail and make a day of it. The Refinery has a brilliant food and drinks menu, so the humans are very well catered for too.

🧁 No POP+BARK pawty would be complete without our iconic Pupuccino Bar. Let them get stuck into a pup cup piled high with tasty toppings, sniff out loads of treats and cause absolute carnage with heaps of Halloween stuffies, toys and balls.

🛍️ Expect a hand-picked stall packed with dog accessories, goodies and plenty of opportunities to treat your four-legged bestie. Because obviously they need Halloween swag.

🦇 Safe, secure and OFF-LEAD. Once inside our dedicated event space, the leads come off and the dogs are free. Let them zoom, sniff, play and make new friends while you mingle with a whole room of equally dog-obsessed humans.

🧙‍♀️ No dog? No problem. Dog lovers are ALWAYS welcome at POP+BARK. Come for the cocktails, stay for the chaos and spend 80 glorious minutes surrounded by every shape, size, fluff level and personality imaginable.

DRESS TO DISTRESS

Halloween costumes are optional but very much encouraged.

And when EVERY kind of dog is invited, the fancy dress possibilities are frankly ridiculous.

Tiny witch on tiny legs? YES. Giant pumpkin? Absolutely. Bat wings on a rescue? We need to see it. Full-blown, wildly unnecessary costume complete with accessories? Even better.

Big dogs, little dogs, floofy dogs, scruffy dogs — there’s something about a dog in a Halloween costume that will never not be funny, and we’re expecting some absolute ICONS.

Better still, get involved yourself. Come twinning, dress up the kids or rock a full group ensemble. This is your excuse to go completely over the top – and we fully support it!

COME MEET LOTS OF DOGS

Our events are a brilliant way to socialise your dog in a safe, secure space where they can be completely off lead. No pavement hellos. No tangled leads. Just the freedom to sniff, zoomie, play, make friends or simply potter about doing their own thing!

Expect a brilliantly mismatched room of big dogs, little dogs, mixed breeds, rescues, rare breeds, floofs, scruffs and everything in between — all together for a friendly doggy social.

From tiny pups finding their paws to distinguished oldies who’ve perfected the art of getting exactly what they want, every age is welcome. Bring one dog, bring your mixed-breed family, or finally bring the pup who never gets their own breed café.

MAKE NEW FRIENDS

The humans tend to find their tribe too.

Chat to fellow dog obsessives, swap stories, make new friends and bond over the one thing everyone in the room has in common – being completely and utterly obsessed with dogs.

Mixed breeds, rescues, rare breeds or pedigrees, it really doesn’t matter here. It’s socialising, but the POP+BARK way – relaxed, ridiculously wholesome and completely led by the dogs.

Our Dog Lover tickets are made for anyone who simply wants to spend 80 glorious minutes surrounded by an absolutely ridiculous number of dogs. Big ones, tiny ones, floofy ones, scruffy ones, rescues, rare breeds, mixed breeds and plenty of wonderfully weird little characters in between.

Need a serotonin fix? Consider this your prescription. Come cuddle some dogs, grab a cocktail, take approximately 600 photos and leave significantly happier than you arrived.

No POP+BARK event is complete without a trip to our iconic Pupuccino Bar – and this Halloween, the treats are getting a spooky little glow-up.

Watch your dog take their rightful place at the bar and tuck into a delicious pup cup piled high with tasty toppings, biscuit treats and all their favourite goodies. No tricks here, just treats.

It’s messy. It’s ridiculously cute. They will truly LOVE it.

Because a Pupuccino isn’t just a snack. It’s a whole moment – and judging by the queues of wagging tails and very impatient faces waiting (and drooling) at the bar, we can safely say it’s the highlight of their day.

FAMILY FRIENDLY FRIGHTS 👻

Calling all little monsters (and big kids too) – POP+BARK Halloween is made for the whole family.

We’ll have Halloween activity sheets, heaps of spooky dog toys and squishies to play with, plus our famous Bubble Bash – technically for the dogs, but we’ve yet to meet a kid who doesn’t get just as excited when the bubbles start flying.

Dress them up, bring them along and let them loose in a room full of dogs, pumpkins, bubbles and Halloween chaos. Tiny pups, giant floofs, wagging tails + little humans = ridiculously cute.

POP+BARK have 6 years experience in hosting safe events and:

• Make each indoor venue dog-proof and safe for them to roam
• Carry out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
• Safety check, sanitise and clean all the event props
• Ensure all staff are fully-trained and adept dog handlers
• Have one dog first-aid team member on site

ACCESSIBILITY

The Refinery Bankside has a wheelchair accessible Main Entrance and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the venue.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Dog Requirements

1.1 Friendliness and Sociability: This event is designed for friendly, well-socialised dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs and people including children. Please only bring dogs that are comfortable in off-lead group settings and show no signs of aggression, anxiety, or fear. Dogs that display nervous or reactive behaviours toward others may be asked to leave, and refunds will not be available in these cases.

1.2 Health, Vaccinations, and Wellbeing: For the health of all pets attending, all dogs must be in good health and up-to-date on vaccinations. Please do not bring dogs that are ill or suffering from contagious illnesses, such as Kennel Cough, as well as dogs that are pregnant or in season, to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing. Vaccination records will not be checked at entry, but owners are attesting to their dog’s health by attending.

1.3 Breed Restrictions: In compliance with UK laws, specific breeds, including Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, and XL Bully breeds, are not permitted at the event. Additionally, Muzzles are not permitted to be worn as we want all dogs to feel comfortable and free to socialise safely. At time of booking you are required to tell us what breed of dog you have, we may need to perform due diligence and check with the Event Insurer whether they will provide cover if a certain rare or unusual breed is attending. In the event they cannot, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

1.4 Avoiding Large Groups of the Same Breed: We strive to create an inclusive experience for a diverse range of dog breeds, so we kindly ask that attendees avoid bringing large groups of the same breed. POP+BARK hosts breed-specific events throughout the year that are tailored for groups to celebrate together. For this event, we reserve the right to cancel bookings if a large group of the same breed is identified.

1.5 Off-Lead Participation: We highly encourage dogs to be off-lead during the event, as this promotes socialisation and helps reduce anxiety, allowing them to enjoy the experience fully. However, please keep a close eye on your dog and ensure their behaviour is appropriate for the setting. Owners are responsible for supervising their dog’s interactions at all times.

2. Owner Responsibilities

2.1 Supervision and Care: Owners are responsible for their pets at all times, including monitoring their interactions with other dogs and people. For a safe experience, it is a maximum of two dogs per adult. Please bring an additional friend to help with supervision if you have more than one dog.

2.2 Cleaning Up After Your Dog: All attendees must pick up after their dog, bagging and binning any mess to keep the venue clean and welcoming for everyone. We appreciate your help in maintaining a clean environment, cleaning products will be available to use.

2.3 Liability and Insurance: Any incidents involving dogs during the event should be managed directly between owners, similar to public settings. POP+BARK and The Happenstance assume no liability for incidents involving dogs. We encourage attendees to verify that their pet insurance includes public liability coverage for potential incidents with other dogs or people.

2.4 Personal Accountability: In the unfortunate event that your dog or another dog is harmed, please resolve the matter directly with the other party. Our team at POP+BARK cannot mediate disputes or assume responsibility in these situations.

3. Ticketing and Refund Policy

3.1 Correct Ticket Type: Each attendee must have the correct ticket. Every human and dog should have a ticket, regardless of whether the ticket is free or not. Those attending with a dog, regardless of whether they are the dog's owner, should have an “Owner” ticket. This includes anyone in the party who will be accompanying a dog. Guests that are attending without a dog in their party and are attending to enjoy the social experience as a dog lover, should select a “Dog Lover” ticket.

3.2 No Refunds: Due to the nature of this event, tickets are non-refundable, so please confirm your availability before booking. If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to family or friends. Contact us directly to discuss ticket transfers help@popandbark.com

3.3 Additional Ticketing Details: Children 16 and under can attend at a reduced rate, while children under 6 are free; however, all children must have a reserved ticket. Please also ensure that each dog has a reserved (free) ticket to enter.

4. Event Cancellation and Refunds

If the event is canceled, you will receive a refund minus a small booking fee, or you may opt for a voucher to attend a future event. The booking fee is £1 per paid ticket, and no fee applies to free tickets (such as child or dog tickets).

5. Food and Drink

All attending dogs will receive a complimentary Pupuccino or Pupcorn. Additional food and drink options for both humans and dogs are available for purchase. Please note that tickets cover entry only, and any additional refreshments are at your own expense. Guests are not permitted to bring their own food and drinks, unless for infants and babies.

6. Event Photography and Filming

Our event may be photographed or filmed to capture these memories and share them with our community. POP+BARK may use event footage on our website, social media, and in promotional materials. If you wish to request the removal of an image featuring you or your dog, please email help@popandbark.com. While we strive to honour removal requests, content already in the public domain may not be alterable.

7. General Notice

POP+BARK reserves the right to amend, reschedule, or cancel the event at any time. We will make every effort to provide suitable notice if any changes arise. Please understand that any changes will be in the best interest of ensuring a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
