POP+BARK is officially back in London – and oh my gourd, we’re going BIG for Halloween.

On Sunday 25th October, we’re taking over The Refinery Bankside for one HUGE Chihuahua Halloween pawty. Think the tiniest dogs in London bringing the BIGGEST main-character energy. 

Expect our iconic Pupuccino Bar, epic Pumpkin Patch, photo booth, heaps of off-lead fun and one VERY special surprise guest waiting in the shadows...

Long-haired, smooth-coated, puppies, golden oldies and every gorgeous Chi in between – the whole Chihuahua crew is invited. Get those costumes ready, because if any breed can pull off a wildly unnecessary Halloween outfit and act like the entire event was organised specifically for them, it’s this lot.

All dog lovers welcome, too, so if a Sunday surrounded by tiny chichis in Halloween outfits sounds a dream, come on in!

THE BEST HALLOWEEN EVENT, EVER.

🕸️ Join one of London’s biggest Chihuahua Halloween gatherings. 80 minutes, one HUGE venue and a room full of Chis ready to mingle, play and prove once and for all that size is completely irrelevant when you have this much personality. Chihuahua people – consider your plans sorted.

🍸 We’re taking over The Refinery Bankside, with a huge indoor bar giving our pint-sized guests plenty of space to roam off-lead. Order a cocktail, grab something delicious from the menu and watch a whole room of Chihuahuas confidently take over the place.

🧁 Obviously, the Pupuccino Bar is coming too. Pup cups loaded with tasty toppings, biscuit treats and goodies await – alongside piles of Halloween stuffies, balls and toys for anyone who fancies causing a little mischief between snacks.

🛍️ Fancy spoiling them even further? Our hand-picked shopping stall will be packed with dog accessories and goodies ready for a Halloween treat-yourself moment. Something tells us your Chihuahua won’t object.

🦇 Safe, secure and completely OFF-LEAD. Once you’re inside our dedicated event space, unclip and let them explore. They can sniff out new pals, scamper around, play, investigate every corner or find themselves a prime spot from which to judge everyone else.

🧙 No Chihuahua? You’re still invited. Our Dog Lover tickets are for anyone who’d happily spend 80 minutes surrounded by Chis. Fluffy, smooth, tiny, pocket-sized and everything in between – come and get your Chihuahua fix.

🧡 And bring the family! Kids are very welcome, so dig out the costumes and make a proper Halloween day of it. Chihuahuas dressed to impress, children chasing bubbles and grown-ups enjoying cocktails – everybody wins.

HALLOWEEN, BUT MAKE IT XXS 🎃

POP+BARK loves a theme, and after two years away, you KNOW we’re not doing Halloween by halves.

We’re transforming the venue into a spooky-season playground with pumpkins on pumpkins, skeletons galore, ghosts ’n’ ghouls, creepy-cute props and an epic Pumpkin Patch ready for its close-up.

There’ll be Halloween toys ready to be chased, squeaked, snuffled and absolutely DESTROYED, spooky surprises around every corner and plenty of frightfully good photo moments along the way.

It’s officially spooky season – just smaller, mightier and approximately 100% more Chihuahua. 🕷️

DRESS TO DISTRESS 

Halloween costumes are optional but very much encouraged.

Whether your Chihuahua is serving pocket-sized pumpkin, tiny vampire, devil dog, wicked witch or something so spectacularly over-the-top they need their own dressing room – we NEED to see it.

And with Chihuahuas, the smaller the dog, the more fabulous the outfit somehow becomes. Get involved too – come twinning, dress up the kids or assemble the whole family look. Halloween is your excuse to be completely ridiculous, so use it. 🪄

COME MEET LOTS OF CHIS

From tiny pups finding their paws to seasoned little seniors who’ve spent years successfully ruling the roost, every age is welcome to come, mingle and meet their fellow Chis.

Our events are a brilliant way to socialise your Chihuahua in a safe, secure space where they can be completely OFF-LEAD. No pavement hellos. No tangled leads. Just the freedom to sniff, explore, play, make friends or take their time checking everyone out from a safe distance.

And trust us, they KNOW when they’ve found their own kind. Watching the confidence build as they clock a whole room of fellow Chihuahuas, make introductions and find their favourites is one of our favourite things about these events.

Our Dog Lover tickets are made for anyone who fancies spending 80 glorious minutes surrounded by more Chihuahuas than you ever thought possible. Fluffy ones, smooth ones, tiny ones, slightly-less-tiny ones – an entire room of Chis to admire, cuddle and fall completely in love with.

If you’ve always dreamed of owning a Chihuahua, come get properly acquainted. Meet them at every life stage, chat to the people who adore them and discover why once you fall for a Chi, there’s really no going back. 💘

Need a serotonin fix? Consider this your prescription. Come cuddle some Chihuahuas, grab a cocktail, take approximately 600 photos and leave significantly happier than you arrived.

No POP+BARK event is complete without a trip to our iconic Pupuccino Bar – and this Halloween, we’re breaking out the XXS pup cups. 🤏

Watch your Chihuahua pull up to the bar and tuck into their own perfectly pint-sized Pupuccino, piled with tasty toppings, biscuit treats and all their favourite goodies. Tiny cup. Serious business.

It’s messy, delicious and outrageously cute – and judging by the line-up of Chis waiting impatiently for their turn, they take Pupuccino time VERY seriously.

FAMILY FRIENDLY FRIGHTS 👻

Calling all little monsters (and big kids too) – POP+BARK Halloween is made for the whole family.

We’ll have Halloween activity sheets, heaps of spooky dog toys, plus our famous Bubble Bash – technically for the dogs, but we're yet to meet a kid who doesn't love it when the bubbles start flying. 🫧

Dress them up, bring them along and watch them make friends in a room full of Chihuahuas, pumpkins, bubbles and Halloween fun. Little humans + little dogs = a match made in heaven.

And while they’re busy making approximately 47 new Chihuahua besties, the grown-ups can grab a cocktail and enjoy the pawty too. Everybody’s happy. 🍹

• Don't bring pregnant dogs or those in season for the safety & wellbeing of all

POP+BARK have 6 years experience in hosting safe events and:

• Make each indoor venue dog-proof and safe for them to roam
• Carry out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
• Safety check, sanitise and clean all the event props
• Ensure all staff are fully-trained and adept dog handlers
• Have one dog first-aid team member on site

ACCESSIBILITY

The venue has a wheelchair accessible entrance and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the venue.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised and up to date with their vaccinations (this will not be checked). Dogs showing aggression towards other dogs or humans will be asked to leave.
2. POP+BARK are the organisers, Chihuahua Cafe is the event and The Refinery is the venue. All parties take no responsibility for your dog or its actions, you must keep them safe and if your dog harms another dog or person it will fall under your own liability.
3. Please check your Pet Insurance to ensure your dog is covered for public liability in the event they harm another dog or person. Should you bring more than one dog, ensure you have enough people to care responsibly them – suggested dog to human ratio is 2:1
4. If you or your dog are harmed by someone else's dog you must resolve the matter with the dog's owner - POP+BARK and the venue take no responsibility for the actions of the dogs attending. Should a fellow guest harm your dog, they will be personally accountable and all issues must be resolved as if in a public space - the POP+BARK team cannot mediate.
5. You must purchase the correct ticket to attend. If you are bringing a dog in your booking, all people in the party are then classed as 'Owners' and should be in possession of Owner tickets and in attendance with at least one dog.
6. If neither you or the guests in your booking are bringing a dog with you to the event, you must buy a Dog Lover ticket.
7. All children must be accounted for - children 16 or under are charged a reduced rate and children 6 or under are free but you must still order a ticket for them.
8. All dogs must be accounted for and we ask you order a ticket for your dog (they are free) please do not attend without a ticket for them. If you attend and do not bring a dog with you but have purchased an Owner ticket it will be at the discretion of the organisers as to whether you are allowed in - you will be required to pay the additional costs to convert your ticket to a Dog Lover ticket plus a service fee.
9. There is a No Refund policy in place due to the nature of these events - you must check you are available to attend before purchasing tickets. However, if in the event you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. All such requests are dealt with on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the organisers.
10. If the event should be cancelled you will receive a refund minus the booking fee paid to TicketTailor or a Refund via Voucher so you can attend another event. The booking fee is £1 per paid ticket. There is no booking fee for free tickets (dog tickets or Children 6 or under)
11. Dogs receive a free Pupuccino or a Pupcorn but all other food and drinks for humans and dogs are payable - the ticket covers entry only.
12. Please only bring Chihuahuas and Chihuahua Crosses that are at least 50% Chihuahua - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate doggy siblings or dog guests of other breeds.
13. POP+BARK may film the event and footage could be used but not limited to: website, event and marketing promotion, social media content adverts and press materials. If you would like to request the removal of your image you can email help@popandbark.com but please be aware while we will endeavour to action any requests, on occasion we may not be able to remove footage once it has been published or in the public domain.
14. We reserve the right to amend, reschedule or cancel the event at any time. We aim to provide guests suitable notice of any changes.
