Get ready for one HUGE Cavalier Christmas pawty, packed with festive fun, Christmas tunes and a whole room of silky-eared sweethearts living their very best off-lead lives. Think wagging tails, floppy ears, endless cuddles and enough Cavalier cuteness to melt even the Grinch's heart!
Christmas jumpers, sequins and DAZZLE are the dress code. Expect festive props galore, perfect Christmas moments, our iconic Pupuccino Bar serving gingerbread pup cups and, of course, a very special visit from SANTA PAWS himself! 🎅
And ALL Cavaliers are invited! Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and King Charles Spaniels, from Blenheim to Ruby, Tricolour to Black & Tan.

🎄 Join Cardiff's biggest Cavalier Christmas gathering for 80 minutes of pure festive joy! One fabulous venue, a sea of very merry Cavaliers and heaps of off-lead fun. Christmas jumpers, sequins and outrageous outfits encouraged – it's time to sleigh!
🎅 Meet Santa Paws! The big dog himself is coming to POP+BARK. Take your Cavalier to meet Santa, snap the ultimate festive photo and make a Christmas memory worthy of the mantelpiece. Naughty or nice? With faces this sweet, we suspect everyone will make the nice list!
📸 Your Christmas camera roll = sorted! We're going all out with Christmas props galore, twinkly backdrops, festive photo stations and plenty of sparkle, surprises and ridiculously adorable floppy-eared moments.
🍸 We're taking over the Slug and Lettuce so grab a festive spritz or delicious coffee, order something delicious and soak up the Christmas magic while your Cavalier makes a whole host of new friends.
🧁 Pupuccinos with a festive twist! Our iconic Pupuccino Bar is getting a Christmas makeover. Treat your Cavalier to a gingerbread pup cup piled high with delicious toppings, including turkey and cranberry. Fit for royalty!

From bouncy little Cavaliers finding their paws to distinguished seniors who have perfected the art of being utterly adorable, Cavaliers of all ages are welcome to mingle, make friends and find their fellow floppy-eared crew!
Our events are a brilliant way to socialise your Cavalier in a safe, secure space where they can be completely OFF-LEAD. No awkward pavement hellos. No tangled leads. Just the freedom to sniff, explore, play, make new besties or simply potter around at their own pace!
And trust us, there's something magical about watching a room full of Cavaliers come together. The silky ears, the happy little faces, the endless tail wagging and the sheer amount of sweetness in one room! Add Christmas jumpers, festive tunes and a little sparkle and you've got one ridiculously happy place to be. ✨

It's messy. It's ridiculously cute. And with Cavaliers involved, expect some VERY enthusiastic taste-testing. HELD AT SLUG AND LETTUCE
It's big, beautiful and made for mingling, with plenty of floor space and comfy seating.
So make yourself at home, grab one of their beers, a fabulous cocktail or a mulled wine and tuck into something delicious. They've got fantastic sharing boards, tasty light bites and a great food menu to choose from. And if cocktails aren't your thing, they make a seriously good coffee too!

SAFE & SOCIAL
- Do bring friendly, well-socialised and vaccinated dogs
- Do let your dog off the lead once inside, but...
- Do keep an eye on them as they always remain your responsibility
- Don't leave any dog mess behind – bag and bin it
- Don't bring aggressive dogs to the event please
- Don't bring pregnant dogs or those in season for the safety and wellbeing of all
POP+BARK has 6 years' experience in hosting safe events and:
- Makes each indoor venue dog-proof and safe for them to roam
- Carries out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
- Safety checks, sanitises and cleans all event props
- Ensures all staff are fully trained and adept dog handlers
- Has one dog first-aid team member on site
ACCESSIBILITY
The venue has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the venue.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised and up to date with their vaccinations (this will not be checked). Dogs showing aggression towards other dogs or humans will be asked to leave.
- POP+BARK are the organisers, Cavalier Cafe is the event and Slug and Lettuce The Friary is the venue. All parties take no responsibility for your dog or its actions. You must keep them safe, and if your dog harms another dog or person, it will fall under your own liability.
- Please check your Pet Insurance to ensure your dog is covered for public liability in the event they harm another dog or person. Should you bring more than one dog, ensure you have enough people to care for them responsibly – suggested dog-to-human ratio is 2:1.
- If you or your dog are harmed by someone else's dog, you must resolve the matter with the dog's owner. POP+BARK and the venue take no responsibility for the actions of the dogs attending. Should a fellow guest harm your dog, they will be personally accountable and all issues must be resolved as if in a public space – the POP+BARK team cannot mediate.
- You must purchase the correct ticket to attend. If you are bringing a dog in your booking, all people in the party are classed as 'Owners' and should have Owner tickets and attend with at least one dog.
- If neither you nor the guests in your booking are bringing a dog, you must buy a Dog Lover ticket.
- All children must be accounted for – children 16 or under are charged a reduced rate and children 6 or under are free, but you must still order a ticket for them.
- All dogs must be accounted for and we ask that you order a ticket for your dog (they are free). Please do not attend without a ticket for them. If you attend without a dog but have purchased an Owner ticket, it will be at the organisers' discretion whether you are allowed in. You will be required to pay the additional cost to convert your ticket to a Dog Lover ticket plus a service fee.
- There is a No Refund policy in place due to the nature of these events – please check you are available before purchasing tickets. However, if you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. All such requests are dealt with on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the organisers.
- If the event is cancelled, you will receive a refund minus the booking fee paid to Ticket Tailor or a refund via voucher so you can attend another event. The booking fee is £1 per paid ticket. There is no booking fee for free tickets (dog tickets or children 6 or under).
- Dogs receive a free Pupuccino or Pupcorn, but all other food and drinks for humans and dogs are payable – the ticket covers entry only.
- Please only bring Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, King Charles Spaniels and Cavalier mixes. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate doggy siblings or dog guests of other breeds.
- POP+BARK may film the event and footage could be used for website, event and marketing promotion, social media content, adverts and press materials. If you would like to request the removal of your image, you can email help@popandbark.com. We will endeavour to action requests, but on occasion may not be able to remove footage once it has been published or entered the public domain.
- We reserve the right to amend, reschedule or cancel the event at any time. We aim to provide guests with suitable notice of any changes.
