On Saturday 24th October, POP+BARK is taking over The Refinery Bankside for a Halloween pawty packed with floppy ears, pumpkins and a LOT of ridiculously cute Cavaliers 🎃
After a 2 year Halloween hiatus, POP+BARK is back in the city so you know we aren't doing Halloween by halves!
For 90 glorious minutes, let your Cavalier off-lead to play, mingle, make new besties and cause a little Halloween chaos. We’re bringing our iconic Pupuccino Bar, Bubble Bash, heaps of balls and spooky toys, Halloween props and one VERY special surprise guest lurking in the shadows... 👀
Dress them up, show them off and get THE cutest Halloween photos surrounded by a whole squad of tiny witches, pumpkins, ghosts and devils.
Costumes are optional, but VERY much encouraged. If yours has been planning their Halloween lewk for weeks, this is their moment. If they’re coming dressed as ✨an adorable fluffy dog✨, also acceptable. They’re cute as hell already!
All Cavaliers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and King Charles Spaniels welcome. The more floppy ears, the merrier! Plus, dog lovers without their own dog are also welcome to join the mayhem.

🍸 We’re taking over The Refinery Bankside with a huge indoor bar that’s pawfect for off-lead Cavalier chaos. Grab a cocktail, order some delicious bites and watch the madness unfold while your pup makes new besties. There's also a great outdoor terrace perfect for pre and post event photos!
🧁 No POP+BARK pawty would be complete without our iconic Pupuccino Bar. Let them get stuck into a pup cup piled high with tasty toppings, sniff out loads of treats and cause absolute carnage with heaps of Halloween stuffies, toys and balls.
🛍️ Expect a hand-picked stall packed with dog accessories, goodies and plenty of opportunities to treat your four-legged bestie. Because obviously they need Halloween swag.
🦇 Safe, secure and OFF-LEAD. Once inside our dedicated event space, the leads come off and the Cavaliers are FREE. Let them zoom, sniff, play, socialise and make new friends while you mingle with your fellow Cavalier people.

POP+BARK loves a theme, and you KNOW we’re not doing Halloween by halves.
We’re transforming the venue into a spooky-season playground with pumpkins on pumpkins, skeletons galore, ghosts ’n’ ghouls, creepy-cute props and an epic Pumpkin Patch ready for its close-up.
There’ll be Halloween toys ready to be chased, squeaked, snuffled and absolutely DESTROYED, spooky surprises around every corner and plenty of frightfully good photo moments along the way.
It’s officially spooky season – just with more Cavaliers, more cute chaos and a LOT more ears flying.
DRESS TO DISTRESS 🎃
Halloween costumes are optional but VERY much encouraged.
Whether your Cavalier is serving tiny witch, floppy-eared vampire, devil dog, pumpkin princess or something so wildly extra it deserves its own Instagram account – we NEED to see it.
Blenheim, ruby, black & tan, tricolour, teeny tiny or gloriously floofy – spooky season looks good on every Cavalier.
Better still, get involved yourself. Come twinning, dress up the kids or commit to a full family ensemble. This is your excuse to go completely over the top – and we fully support it! 🎃

There’s just something about Cavaliers meeting Cavaliers.
From tiny pups finding their paws to seasoned Cavalier oldies who’ve perfected the art of getting exactly what they want, every age is welcome to come, mingle and find their people... well, Cavaliers.
Our events are a brilliant way to socialise your Cavalier in a safe, secure space where they can be completely OFF-LEAD. No pavement hellos. No tangled leads. Just the freedom to sniff, zoomie, play, make friends or simply do their own thing.
And trust us, they KNOW when they’re surrounded by their own kind. Watching them clock an entire room of Cavaliers, find their gang and happily disappear into the action never gets old.

Our Dog Lover tickets are made for anyone who simply wants to spend the afternoon surrounded by happy faces, waggy little bodies and a frankly ridiculous amount of Cavalier cuteness.
If you’ve always dreamed of owning a Cavalier, it’s the perfect chance to get to know the breed, meet Cavaliers of every age, chat to their humans and experience first-hand why these sweet little dogs have us all completely obsessed.
Warning: you may leave wanting one. Or three.
Need a serotonin fix? Consider this your prescription. Come cuddle some Cavaliers, grab a cocktail, take approximately 600 photos and leave significantly happier than you arrived.
Bring your bestie, surprise a Cavalier-obsessed friend, plan the cutest first date imaginable or just book because being surrounded by happy little Cavaliers sounds like a frankly excellent way to spend a Sunday in Cardiff.

No POP+BARK event is complete without a trip to our iconic Pupuccino Bar – and this Halloween, the treats are getting a spooky little glow-up.
Watch your Cavalier take their rightful place at the bar and tuck into a delicious pup cup piled high with tasty toppings, biscuit treats and all their favourite goodies. No tricks here, just treats.
It’s messy. It’s ridiculously cute. Your Cavalier will truly LOVE it.

Calling all little monsters (and big kids too) – POP+BARK Halloween is made for the whole family.
We’ll have Halloween activity sheets, heaps of spooky dog toys and squishies to play with the Cavaliers, plus our famous Bubble Bash – technically for the dogs, but we’ve yet to meet a kid who doesn’t get just as excited when the bubbles start flying.
Dress them up, bring them along and let them loose in a room full of Cavaliers, pumpkins, bubbles and Halloween chaos. Kids + dogs + spooky season = ridiculously cute.

- Don't bring pregnant dogs or those in season for the safety & wellbeing of all
POP+BARK have 6 years experience in hosting safe events and:
- Make each indoor venue dog-proof and safe for them to roam
- Carry out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
- Safety check, sanitise and clean all the event props
- Ensure all staff are fully-trained and adept dog handlers
- Have one dog first-aid team member on site
ACCESSIBILITY
The venue has a wheelchair accessible entrance and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the venue.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised and up to date with their vaccinations (this will not be checked). Dogs showing aggression towards other dogs or humans will be asked to leave.
- POP+BARK are the organisers, Cavalier Cafe is the event and The Refinery Bankside is the venue. All parties take no responsibility for your dog or its actions, you must keep them safe and if your dog harms another dog or person it will fall under your own liability.
- Please check your Pet Insurance to ensure your dog is covered for public liability in the event they harm another dog or person. Should you bring more than one dog, ensure you have enough people to care responsibly them – suggested dog to human ratio is 2:1
- If you or your dog are harmed by someone else's dog you must resolve the matter with the dog's owner - POP+BARK and the venue take no responsibility for the actions of the dogs attending. Should a fellow guest harm your dog, they will be personally accountable and all issues must be resolved as if in a public space - the POP+BARK team cannot mediate.
- You must purchase the correct ticket to attend. If you are bringing a dog in your booking, all people in the party are then classed as 'Owners' and should be in possession of Owner tickets and in attendance with at least one dog.
- If neither you or the guests in your booking are bringing a dog with you to the event, you must buy a Dog Lover ticket.
- All children must be accounted for - children 16 or under are charged a reduced rate and children 6 or under are free but you must still order a ticket for them.
- All dogs must be accounted for and we ask you order a ticket for your dog (they are free) please do not attend without a ticket for them. If you attend and do not bring a dog with you but have purchased an Owner ticket it will be at the discretion of the organisers as to whether you are allowed in - you will be required to pay the additional costs to convert your ticket to a Dog Lover ticket plus a service fee.
- There is a No Refund policy in place due to the nature of these events - you must check you are available to attend before purchasing tickets. However, if in the event you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. All such requests are dealt with on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the organisers.
- If the event should be cancelled you will receive a refund minus the booking fee paid to TicketTailor or a Refund via Voucher so you can attend another event. The booking fee is £1 per paid ticket. There is no booking fee for free tickets (dog tickets or Children 6 or under)
- Dogs receive a free Pupuccino or a Pupcorn but all other food and drinks for humans and dogs are payable - the ticket covers entry only.
- Please only bring Cavaliers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels or King Charles Spaniels - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate doggy siblings or dog guests of other breeds.
- POP+BARK may film the event and footage could be used but not limited to: website, event and marketing promotion, social media content adverts and press materials. If you would like to request the removal of your image you can email help@popandbark.com but please be aware while we will endeavour to action any requests, on occasion we may not be able to remove footage once it has been published or in the public domain.
- We reserve the right to amend, reschedule or cancel the event at any time. We aim to provide guests suitable notice of any changes.
