On Sunday 11th October, we’re taking over Slug and Lettuce Oxford for one HUGE Dachshund Halloween pawty. Think, lots of tiny legs, pumpkins everywhere, spooky sausages and absolute Halloween chaos.
Tricks? Absolutely. Treats? Obviously.
Expect our iconic Pupuccino Bar, epic Pumpkin Patch, photo booth, heaps of off-lead fun and one VERY special surprise guest lurking in the shadows... 👀
So whether your sausage is too cute to spook, dressed as an actual hot dog, or currently entering their tiny-but-terrifying villain era, get those costumes ready.

🧁 No POP+BARK party would be complete without our iconic Pupuccino Bar. Your sausage can get stuck into a pup cup piled with delicious toppings, sniff out loads of treats and enjoy heaps of Halloween stuffies, toys, balls and off-lead fun.
🛍️ Expect a hand-picked stall packed with dog accessories, goodies and plenty of opportunities to treat your four-legged bestie. Because obviously your sausage needs a little Halloween swag.
🦇 Safe, secure and OFF-LEAD. Once inside our dedicated event space, the leads can come off and the fun can begin. Let them zoom, sniff, play and make new friends while you mingle with fellow Dachshund people.

HALLOWEEN, BUT MAKE IT LONG 🎃
POP+BARK loves a theme, and you KNOW we’re not doing Halloween by halves.
We’re transforming the venue into a full-blown spooky-season playground. Think pumpkins on pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts ’n’ ghouls, creepy-cute props and an epic Pumpkin Patch ready for its close-up.
There’ll be Halloween toys ready to chase, squeak, snuffle and absolutely DESTROY, spooky surprises along the way and plenty of frightfully good photo moments.
Spooky season has officially gone to the dogs.
DRESS TO DISTRESS 🎃
Halloween costumes are optional but very much encouraged.
Whether your Dachshund is serving tiny witch, spooky sausage, devil dog, pumpkin realness or something so wildly extra it deserves its own Instagram account – we want to see it.
And yes, dressing them as an actual hot dog will always be funny. We don’t make the rules. 🌭
Better still, get involved yourself. Come twinning, dress up the kids or assemble the whole family coven. This is your excuse to go completely over the top – and we fully support it!

Our events are a brilliant way to socialise your Dachshund in a safe, secure space where they can be completely OFF-LEAD.
No pavement hellos. No tangled leads. Just the freedom to sniff, play, zoomie, make friends or simply potter around at their own pace!

Our Dog Lover tickets are made for anyone who simply wants to spend 80 glorious minutes surrounded by a sea of sausage dogs.
If you’ve always dreamed of owning a Dachshund, it’s also the perfect chance to get to know the breed, meet Doxies of every age, chat to their humans and experience first-hand just how much personality can fit into those tiny legs.
Need a serotonin fix? Consider this your prescription. Come cuddle some sausages, grab a cocktail, take approximately 600 photos and leave significantly happier than you arrived.
Bring your bestie, surprise a Dachshund-obsessed friend, plan the cutest first date imaginable or just book because being surrounded by sausage dogs sounds like a frankly excellent way to spend a weekend in town.
THE ICONIC PUPUCCINO BAR 🧁
No POP+BARK event is complete without a trip to our iconic Pupuccino Bar – and this Halloween, the treats are getting a spooky little glow-up.
Watch your Dachshund take their rightful place at the bar and tuck into a delicious pup cup piled high with tasty toppings, biscuit treats and all their favourite goodies. No tricks here, just treats.
It’s messy. It’s ridiculously cute. Your sausage will truly love it!
Because a Pupuccino isn’t just a snack. It’s a whole moment – and judging by the queues of Dachshunds waiting (and drooling) at the bar, we can tell you it’s the highlight of their day.
FAMILY FRIENDLY FRIGHTS 👻
Calling all little monsters (and big kids too) – POP+BARK Halloween is made for the whole family.
We’ll have Halloween activity sheets, heaps of spooky dog toys and squishies to play with the sausages, plus our famous Bubble Bash – technically for the dogs, but we’ve yet to meet a kid who doesn’t get just as excited when the bubbles start flying.
Dress them up, bring them along and let them loose in a room full of Dachshunds, pumpkins, bubbles and Halloween fun.
And if the grown-ups happen to have a cocktail in hand while all this is going on? Even better.

SAFE & SOCIAL

- Don’t leave any dog mess behind – bag and bin it
- Don’t bring aggressive dogs to the event please
- Don't bring pregnant dogs or those in season for the safety & wellbeing of all
POP+BARK have 6 years experience in hosting safe events and:
- Make each indoor venue dog-proof and safe for them to roam
- Carry out a Risk Assessment prior to every event
- Safety check, sanitise and clean all the event props
- Ensure all staff are fully-trained and adept dog handlers
- Have one dog first-aid team member on site
ACCESSIBILITY
The venue has a wheelchair accessible entrance and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the venue.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Dogs attending the event must be friendly, well-socialised and up to date with their vaccinations (this will not be checked). Dogs showing aggression towards other dogs or humans will be asked to leave.
- POP+BARK are the organisers, Dachshund Cafe is the event and Slug and Lettuce is the venue. All parties take no responsibility for your dog or its actions, you must keep them safe and if your dog harms another dog or person it will fall under your own liability.
- Please check your Pet Insurance to ensure your dog is covered for public liability in the event they harm another dog or person. Should you bring more than one dog, ensure you have enough people to care responsibly them – suggested dog to human ratio is 2:1
- If you or your dog are harmed by someone else's dog you must resolve the matter with the dog's owner - POP+BARK and the venue take no responsibility for the actions of the dogs attending. Should a fellow guest harm your dog, they will be personally accountable and all issues must be resolved as if in a public space - the POP+BARK team cannot mediate.
- You must purchase the correct ticket to attend. If you are bringing a dog in your booking, all people in the party are then classed as 'Owners' and should be in possession of Owner tickets and in attendance with at least one dog.
- If neither you or the guests in your booking are bringing a dog with you to the event, you must buy a Dog Lover ticket.
- All children must be accounted for - children 16 or under are charged a reduced rate and children 6 or under are free but you must still order a ticket for them.
- All dogs must be accounted for and we ask you order a ticket for your dog (they are free) please do not attend without a ticket for them. If you attend and do not bring a dog with you but have purchased an Owner ticket it will be at the discretion of the organisers as to whether you are allowed in - you will be required to pay the additional costs to convert your ticket to a Dog Lover ticket plus a service fee.
- There is a No Refund policy in place due to the nature of these events - you must check you are available to attend before purchasing tickets. However, if in the event you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. All such requests are dealt with on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the organisers.
- If the event should be cancelled you will receive a refund minus the booking fee paid to TicketTailor or a Refund via Voucher so you can attend another event. The booking fee is £1 per paid ticket. There is no booking fee for free tickets (dog tickets or Children 6 or under)
- Dogs receive a free Pupuccino or a Pupcorn but all other food and drinks for humans and dogs are payable - the ticket covers entry only.
- Please only bring Dachshunds and Dachshund Crosses that are at least 50% Dachshund - unfortunately we are unable to accommodate doggy siblings or dog guests of other breeds.
- POP+BARK may film the event and footage could be used but not limited to: website, event and marketing promotion, social media content adverts and press materials. If you would like to request the removal of your image you can email help@popandbark.com but please be aware while we will endeavour to action any requests, on occasion we may not be able to remove footage once it has been published or in the public domain.
- We reserve the right to amend, reschedule or cancel the event at any time. We aim to provide guests suitable notice of any changes.
